Portraits
At your request
Liz will carry out a detailed painting or drawing of your pet based
on a quality photograph. Prices will be agreed in advance and payment
is to be made only on satisfactory completion of the portrait.
 
All of the
paintings/drawings shown here are quite small (approximately 18
cm x 25 cm). It is hoped that you will agree that the strength of
these works is based not on their size but the level of detail achieved.
Web publishing loses some of the definition
and detail of the paintings but to give you more of an idea please
move your mouse over the cat and duck!
 
Prices
To give you
an idea of prices: a painting of your pet without a detailed background
will probably be between £50 and £60. A pencil drawing
without background will be approximately £25-30.
A portrait
such as the cat in the cherry tree (shown above) costs more because
it takes as long to paint a square inch of background as it does
to paint a square inch of animal. Postage is extra and charged at
actual cost.
