Liz paints
from her home in the heart of the Peak District, Derbyshire. She
has a passion for all creatures great and small and currently shares
her home with 7 ex-stray cats, 4 ex battery hens, 4 ducks, 3 rescue
rabbits, a vertically challenged canary, a vertically challenged
rook (neither can fly properly), and her partner Richard (he can’t
fly either but this is causing less concern).
 
What makes
Artful Badger unique? The answer is that each work is a one-off:
because each is hand painted, no two works are the same.
Liz’s
aim is to capture the beauty of animals through detailed drawings
and paintings, and caricature the spirit of these creatures through
quirky cartoon characters. Her objective is to make the customer
happy through her unique paintings and drawings whilst making a
fair wage and paying her taxes (the business is registered with
HMRC).
